We are a nonprofit service organization that relies upon its members to help in growing and maintaining our facilities, and to make a positive impact upon our community. We are seeking assistance from our talented members. SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER: If you have experience working with Facebook or other social media platforms, SLSA needs your help to manage its social media profile. The position will require a knowledge of how to post and delete messages on its Facebook page and to bring positive content to the public’s attention. This position can be performed at home. THURSDAY MORNING GROUND MAINTAINANCE: Every Thursday morning from 8:00 am to 10:00 am an enthusiastic group of volunteers gets together to tackle various projects from range improvements to general maintenance. RANGE SAFETY OFFICERS: Our Club is always looking for members to join the ranks of the Range Safety Officers. An RSO oversees each range and helps to provide a safe range experience for our members and their guests on weekends, trap and skeet days and for special events. Training and uniforms are provided. ARTICLE WRITER: The Club is looking for an interested person to write articles for the local newspapers about Club members and activities. The position requires the candidate to write and submit one (1) article between 250 – 400 words every other month. The subject matter and content of the article shall be approved by the Board. CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS: The Club has numerous projects, both ongoing and planned, for range improvements.
